Specific timed itinerary, lodging specifications, and finalized tour details provided approximately 2 weeks prior to departure Day 1 – Depart from your hometown and travel to Lincoln, NH, stopping for rest and lunch on your own en route to your hotel. After check-in, you will have time to freshen up before departing for a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. Day 2 – Arise to a delicious breakfast, then depart on a scenic ride along the Kancamagus Highway, one of the most scenic routes in America, with stops at Albany Covered Bridge and the Rocky Gorge. Enjoy lunch on your own in the village of North Conway where there will be time for shopping. You may also choose to visit the Victorian Train Station at the Conway Scenic Railroad. Afterwards, enjoy a tour of Crawford Notch State Park, with photo stops at Silver Cascade and at the Elephant Head natural rock formation. Travel past the Willey House Slide Historic Site. Continue touring with a ride on the Aerial Tramway to the top of Cannon Mountain for views of spectacular rugged mountain scenery with a short loop trail around the summit from where you can see fabulous mountain ranges, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Canada. Arrive at the Franconia Notch Visitor Center where you can view historical displays and a 20-minute interpretive presentation. You can also visit the coffee shop and gift shop. Return to your hotel to freshen up before dinner, which is on your own this evening. Later this evening you will enjoy a 3-hour Moose Tour which will give you access to these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Day 3 – Enjoy breakfast at your leisure, then meet your guide to travel to Lake Winnipesaukee for a scenic one-way boat ride aboard the M/S Mount Washington to Wolfeboro, the oldest summer resort in America. Enjoy lunch on your own and shopping in this delightful lakeside resort town. After lunch, you will tour the Wright Museum, which features exhibits about Would War II, such as aircraft and tanks, and exhibits about everyday life. You will also visit the Old Country Store in Moultonborough. Later in the afternoon, you will arrive at Meredith Station to board the Winnipesaukee Dinner Train for a hot roast turkey dinner and scenic 2-hour ride along Lake Winnipesaukee. Return to your hotel for a restful evening. Day 4 – Following breakfast, you will check out and depart for a visit to the Canterbury Shaker Village where you can explore the buildings, exhibits, craft demonstrations, nature trails, and a museum store that focus on Shaker and the other traditional handcrafts. Enjoy lunch on your own, then depart for the Clydesdale Hamlet to meet the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales and have a photo opportunity.
